Omer Yilmaz is a Turkish-born editor and filmmaker based in Los Angeles. He holds an MFA in Film and Media Arts from Emerson College and a Certificate in Cinematography from UCLA Extension. He has worked on a wide range of projects, including narrative films, documentaries, trailers, and commercials. He has experience both as a lead editor and assistant editor, cutting content across live-action, animation, and hybrid formats. His editing style focuses on rhythm, timing, and emotional impact. He sees editing as a way to explore story, emotion, truth, and human experience. He brings care, clarity, and teamwork to every project, and believes powerful stories can create space for reflection and change.
